The tale commences amidst the Battle of A Baoa Qu, a decisive clash marking the concluding days of the One Year War. Amidst the pandemonium, two men endeavor to survive. Zeon's accomplished pilot, Eric Blanke, helplessly observes his comrades' downfall. Meanwhile, squad captain Courand Hughes agonizes over the loss of his fallen subordinates. Fast forward to Universal Century 0081 and Eric Blanke still confronts the overpowering might of the Federation. His singular objective is to avenge the cruelties perpetrated by the Earth Federation. However, his match emerges in the form of Courand Hughes, the captain of an exclusive mobile suit unit entrusted with taking down disloyal Zeon forces. Galvanized by his yearning to reunite with his A Baoa Qu comrades who made the ultimate sacrifice, Courand throws himself into the fray with unbridled gusto.
