Goku has become bored with his mundane life on Earth after defeating Boo. Despite his wife Chi-chi's urging for him to find a job, his obsession with training and fighting stronger foes consumes him. Meanwhile, Beerus, the God of Destruction, and his assistant Whis travel the cosmos in search of excitement and sustenance.
